secondary: Grades 6–12
ARC Accelerator® secondary is an intervention program designed to provide targeted instruction and practice for secondary students not yet reading on grade level.
ARC Accelerator's Approach
ARC's Secondary Accelerator keeps it simple: the right tools, the right moves, right when students need them. The goal of ARC Accelerator is to rapidly increase the complexity of text each student can read and understand on their own.
Teach all students high-utility skills/strategies for handling any text.

Screen students for phonics and vocabulary gaps, and provide simple tools for teachers, students, and families to support growth and track progress.

Provide explicit, systematic, and sequential instruction in the specific skills each reader needs.

Ensure essential reading practice builds fluency, expands vocabulary, and grows background knowledge.

ARC Accelerator is designed to provide targeted instruction and practice for secondary students who are not yet reading at grade level. Scripted, easy, and fast, it's perfect for your intervention, MTSS, or RTI space.
