Dinosaurs

While studying the dinosaurs of the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods and the worlds in which they lived, students will develop vocabulary and background knowledge in both earth and life sciences. Dinosaurs have a certain special appeal to young readers, but this collection is also appropriate for older readers who have not yet mastered sophisticated phonics. The dinosaur names and science terms give students concentrated practice with diacritical spellings and phonetic reading.
